Title : VR-GO - Ergonomics in virtual environment

Project Lead : Pascal Madeleine From : Aalborg University (None)

Dates : from 2013-10-07 00:00:00 to 2013-10-07 00:00:00

Description :

Motivation and objectives :
The objectives are to perform manual handling tasks in both real and virtual environment. More specifically, the effects of virtual environment compared with a real similar setup will be analyzed in terms of changes in the movement pattern (movement and muscle coordination) as well as muscle fatigue development by means of kinetic, kinematics and multi-channel surface electromyography (SEMG) as well as mechanomyography (MMG) recordings.

Teams :
The applicant is head of the Research Group Interest on Physical Activity and Human Performance and directing the laboratory for Ergonomics and Work-related Disorders (http://www.smi.hst.aau.dk/lab/ewd/). Moreover, he is an internationally recognized scientist with special competences within muscle pain, biofeedback, electromyography and mechanomyography measurements (2D), motor control and Biomechanics (3D) as well as muscle physiology.

Dates :
starting date : 25 June, 2012
ending date : 16 July, 2012

Conclusions :
1 publication at Coginfocom 2012 Collaboration is alive till this period. Regular contacts and planned publications.
